A roadster from BMW ready for any adventure

The BMW Z4 series that was originally introduced in 2003 is one intriguing sports models available in the market. Updated in 2006, the Z4 has been completely redesigned for 2010. In order to compete with similar cars from the Mercedes Benz, in 2009 BMW introduced a retractable hard top model in addition to its conventional soft-top convertibles. The Z4 compared to its predecessor Z3, add a bit more comfort, new refinements and comes with a turbo charged engine.

The Z4 comes in three trim levels; sDrive28i, sDrive35i and sDrive35is. The sDrive28i comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-4 that produces 240 horsepower, and 260 pound-feet of torque. As a result it has a fuel economy better than previous 6-cylinder engine.

The sDrive35i twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 produces 300 horsepower with 300 pound-feet of torque. The six-speed manual transmission is standard.

The sleek, stylish and more powerful sDrive35is is the highest of the new roadster. Its 335 horsepower engine boasts a 332 pound-feet of torque that can be boosted to standard 369 pound-feet with a temporary over boost function.

The Z4 rewards its driver with an engaging driving experience. Its quick acceleration and styling keep the driver glued to the road.
