Used Japanese Cars Import

Most folks in the market for a new or used car aren’t aware that there virtually countless Japanese car import vehicles available. Japan sells more used vehicles than any other country in the world, and often for much lower prices.

Consider, for instance, the Toyota Harrier, which retails between $8,000 and $26,000 dollars. Available in black, pearl, or silver, the Harrier offers power steering, power windows, an SRS airbag system, and an antilock brake system. Some models come with a color TV and CD changer. Or maybe you’d prefer the Toyota Land Cruiser, which retails between $6,800 and $39,000. Equipped with automatic steering, this SUV is suitable for both on- and off-road environments and is available with power steering, central locking, SRS dual airbags, and a navigation system.

There are a number of Toyota Land Cruisers for sale through Japanese dealers. In most cases, once you have supplied your name, address, and telephone number, the dealership will send you a proforma invoice with their bank details, after which you will send your payment via wire transfer. Once this is complete, the dealer will ship your car to you. In most cases, shipping costs average between $1,000 and $2,500 worldwide. The total price will also include marine insurance, which is usually about $120. All shipped vehicles must be approved by the Japanese Inspection Organization, which monitors the safety standards of all vehicles and pieces of heavy machinery exported from the country.
