Yamaha FZ150 To Launch Around Diwali
All the hype, all the fame and all the attention went to the Yamaha YZFR15, only because of its rumored 22bhp output. Now that its released, there are so many people ready to buy it. Yamaha is regaining its popularity. But not everyone noticed the other bike standing next to the YZFR15 in the Yamaha stall during the autoshow.
Now that it is time to have some FZ150 talk, lets talk! :). The FZ150 is the replica of the much bigger macho FZ1 1000cc bike, with a 150cc engine. A few shots have been taken by Bike India and members of Team-Bhp to show that Yamaha is almost ready to release the naked monster.
Though the FZ150 is not completely faired like the YZFR15, it does look better than it actually, in my view ofcourse. The extreme presence gained by the fat tyre at the back is something that its sibling lacks. The FZ150’s engine will develop an output of 14-16bhp and has monoshock suspension.
What adds the style?
Well, start off with the Chop face headlight and the large forks, followed by a muscular looking tank, the huge engine, ofcourse the fat tyre and the split grabs.
The bike should get here by the festive season, like in October or somewhere around it. This one would not be as expensive as the YZFR15, but would cost around Rs 80,000. Yes, compared to its sibling the price is quite a relief.
